A package holiday is usually flights, transfers and one hotel. A tailor-made holiday is anything more than that: a hotel plus a cruise, touring or rail, a self-drive trip, or two or more destinations, all planned to fit together.

Yes. We have our own ATOL, so we can combine flights, hotels, cruises and tours from different suppliers and keep the whole trip ATOL protected. Your money is also protected through Merlin Travel Group. See how we protect your holiday.

Not necessarily. You pay for the pieces you choose, our planning and advice don’t cost extra, and we can often use exclusive rates you won’t find online. Tell us your budget at the start and we’ll design around it.

Absolutely. It’s one of the most popular things we do: a couple of nights in the departure city means no rushing to the ship and a mini city break thrown in.

For multi-part trips, especially those with cruises, rail journeys or school-holiday dates, earlier is better: often 9 to 12 months ahead. That said, we’re always happy to see what we can do for sooner dates.

Yes, from multi-generational family holidays to celebrations with friends. We also host our own group trips, such as Shanghai to Sakura.
