Lapland
Lapland is magic at any age. Meet Santa on a day trip, go husky sledding and snowmobiling on an adults-only adventure, or spend a few nights watching the sky for the Northern Lights.
Tell us who’s travelling and when, and we’ll find the right trip and the best departure airport for you.

No. Cruises are a big part of what we do, but we also plan Disney holidays around the world, luxury all-inclusive escapes, rail journeys like the Rocky Mountaineer, and tailor-made trips with flights, hotels and transfers.
The guides on this page come from our own trips, with our own photos wherever we have them. If you ask about somewhere we haven’t been yet, we’ll tell you honestly and find out what you need to know.
Yes, and it’s one of our favourite things to plan. Think a few days in Vancouver and the Rockies before an Alaska cruise, Shanghai before sailing to Japan, or Rome before a Mediterranean voyage. We’ll arrange the flights, hotels and transfers too.
Alaska is a summer destination. The cruise season runs through the warmer months, with long days and the best chance of wildlife. Read our first-time guide to cruising Alaska for month-by-month advice.
You need dark skies, so the Northern Lights season runs through the autumn and winter months. Sightings are never guaranteed, so we’ll help you pick a trip with plenty of time outdoors at night to give you the best chance.
Yes. Magical Traveller is a member of Merlin Travel Group and your money is protected through PTS. When your holiday includes flights, it’s also ATOL protected. See how we protect your holiday.
