Your questions answered
No. Your fare includes your stateroom, meals in the main restaurants and buffet, afternoon tea, entertainment, and tea, coffee and water. Drinks, speciality restaurants, Wi-Fi and gratuities are extra. Drinks packages are available, and our guide to Cunard drinks packages explains the options.
Daytime is relaxed. Most evenings are Smart Attire, which is roughly what you’d wear to a nice restaurant. On selected Gala Evenings guests dress up in dinner jackets, dark suits, cocktail dresses or evening gowns, often with a theme. A seven-night voyage usually has two Gala Evenings.
No. A daily hotel service charge is added to your onboard account per person, per night (slightly higher in the Grills), plus a service charge on drinks and spa treatments. We’ll confirm the current rates when we quote.
Your stateroom grade decides where you dine. Britannia guests dine in the Britannia Restaurant. Britannia Club balcony guests have their own smaller restaurant with a reserved table. Princess Grill and Queens Grill suites have private restaurants, the Grills Lounge and terrace, and extra touches. See the comparison.
Queen Mary 2 usually takes seven nights between Southampton and New York. Most people sail one way and fly the other, and we can package your flights and a New York hotel with ATOL protection.
Yes, on Queen Mary 2’s Transatlantic crossings, which have kennels on board looked after by a Kennel Master. Spaces are very limited, so it’s worth booking early. Ask us and we’ll check availability.
Most UK voyages are roundtrip from Southampton, so there are no flights to worry about. Some voyages start or finish in other ports, and on longer voyages you may fly out to join the ship. Search every voyage for details.
You pay the same price as booking direct, but with us you get first-hand advice from people who’ve sailed with Cunard, help choosing the right ship and stateroom grade, and someone to call if plans change. We can also add flights and hotels as an ATOL-protected package.
