Your questions answered
Yes. Tips are already included in your P&O Cruises fare, so there are no service charges added to your bill on board.
Your fare covers your cabin, meals in the main restaurants and buffet, entertainment, pools and tea and coffee. Alcohol, speciality restaurants and Wi-Fi are extra, but you can add an optional all-inclusive package that bundles drinks, Wi-Fi and speciality dining credit. Ask us whether it’s worth it for your trip.
Arcadia and Aurora are for adults only on most sailings, though P&O now welcomes families on a small number of selected holidays on both ships. Arvia, Iona, Britannia, Azura and Ventura are family-friendly, with kids’ clubs and adults-only spaces.
Yes, most P&O holidays start and end in Southampton, so you can drive to the port and skip the airport. You can book parking, or choose it as your Select Price benefit on cruises of 7 nights or more. In winter there are also Caribbean fly-cruises from Barbados.
Select Price gives you the most choice: your exact cabin, first priority for dining and upgrades, and on longer cruises a perk such as on-board spending money or parking. Early Saver and Saver are cheaper, but P&O allocates your cabin. See the fares side by side.
Pounds sterling, so there are no exchange rates to worry about when you buy drinks, treatments or shore experiences on board.
It’s a great choice. Sailing from Southampton, paying in pounds and a familiar British feel on board make it an easy first cruise. Tell us what you’re looking for and we’ll match you to the right ship.
You get independent advice from people who book every major cruise line, help choosing the right ship, cabin and fare, and one point of contact if your plans change. We can also add hotels, transfers or flights to build the whole holiday around you.
