Water park

Typhoon Lagoon

Picture a tropical paradise swept by a mighty storm. Palm trees lean, surfboards stick out of rooftops and slides twist through shipwrecks and lagoons. At its heart is a huge wave pool with swells big enough for beginner surfers, or for floating along with a thrill.

✦Bobbing in the wave pool, waiting for the horn and the next big wave.

  • Crush ’n’ Gusher, a water coaster that sends you uphill
  • Castaway Creek, the lazy river for drifting the afternoon away
  • The surf pool, with surf lessons on selected mornings

Water park

Blizzard Beach

A winter wonderland that melted in the Florida sun, leaving slushy slopes that turned into splashy slides. It’s home to Summit Plummet, one of the world’s tallest and fastest free-fall slides, and families love the Ski Patrol Training Camp and Teamboat Springs family raft ride.

✦Riding the chairlift up Mount Gushmore in the Florida sunshine, ski jumps and all.

  • Summit Plummet for the bravest in your group
  • Toboggan Racers: race each other down on mats
  • The chairlift to the top of Mount Gushmore
