What is Razzle Dazzle on Virgin Voyages?
Razzle Dazzle is one of Virgin Voyages’ included restaurants, found on all four Lady ships. The name and decor are inspired by the bold camouflage patterns used on British naval ships during WWI, designed not to hide, but to confuse the enemy. That same boldness runs through the restaurant’s design, from its clashing stripes to the funky, maritime-inspired art.
Originally launched as a veggie-forward concept, Razzle Dazzle has evolved into more of an American comfort food spot, with plenty of indulgent options for meat-eaters too. It’s still vegetarian-friendly, but the menu now feels broader and more crowd-pleasing.

Our Favourite Dishes at Razzle Dazzle
Let’s start with the non-negotiables: the chicken wings. We order them every single time. They’re rich, zesty, and full of flavour. They’re one of the most consistent dishes across the fleet and always hit the spot.
We also tend to share the Pork Belly between us. They’re meaty, tender, and absolutely packed with flavour. Perfect as a shared plate if you’re trying to sample a few things without going overboard.
Now, about that “secret” burger… Virgin likes to offer a secret menu item at Razzle Dazzle, usually announced by your server when you check in. It’s not that secret, but it is fantastic. It’s a juicy burger loaded with gravy and blue cheese, delivering this rich, umami bomb of a bite. We’ve tried a few burgers on board, and honestly, this one’s the winner.
Then theres the incredible Slow Booked Short Lamb Shank on the main menu that is 10/10. Being Welsh, Lamb is always on the menu, but this comes with a rich gravy, packed with flavour, and falls off the bone, i never get tired of the lamb.
Desserts are always worth the time, my personal top choice is the Dark Smores, a dark chocolate moose with marshmallow cream, and crumbled crackers over the top, its decadent, but the portion is just the right size that it never gets too rich. The Creme Brulee is also a classic, nothing ground breaking, but a good choice.

Brunch at Razzle Dazzle Review
We’re not big brunchers – we usually prefer a quicker start at The Galley – but we do like to fit in one proper brunch per voyage, and it’s a toss-up between The Wake and Razzle Dazzle. We tend to alternate and usually book brunch for a sea day, when we’re not rushing to get off the ship.
If you’re going for brunch, do yourself a favour and order the Yaas Queen mimosa. It’s sparkly (literally – it comes with drinkable glitter), fun, and surprisingly strong. Bottomless brunch is around $25 and well worth it if you’re in the mood for a slow, boozy start to the day. Let’s just say we’ve rolled out of there more than once!

When and Why We Book Razzle Dazzle
One of the biggest reasons we love Razzle Dazzle? It’s quick. Meals in places like Test Kitchen or Gunbae can easily stretch over two hours, which is lovely when you’re in the mood for it, but sometimes you just want something a bit faster.
That’s why we nearly always book Razzle Dazzle for:
- Night one of the cruise: we’re usually a bit tired, maybe a little tipsy from poolside drinks, and keen to get to the show or PJ Party without a two-hour dinner.
- Scarlet Night: we try to book an early seating (before 8pm) so we’re done eating in time for the 9pm kick-off at The Roundabout. The restaurant’s red lighting and lively vibe also match the mood perfectly.
Service is typically smooth and friendly, and dishes come out at a nice pace. It’s also one of the better restaurants to try your luck with ordering extra starters, though policies can vary depending on how busy the restaurant and the ship are. We’ve found they’re usually quite accommodating, but mains may be limited to one per person during peak times.
Atmosphere and Seating Tips
Razzle Dazzle is fun, lively, and visually loud. The striped decor, nautical elements, and bold lighting create a unique vibe, but if you’re someone who’s sensitive to noise or prefers a quieter space, ask to sit:
- By the wall or in the back section, where it’s a bit more tucked away.
- Avoid the central seating area if you’re not keen on close quarters or louder conversations.
On Scarlet Lady, now home to Lucky Lotus by Razzle Dazzle, the vibe has shifted slightly. It’s more intimate, with colourful updates and cosier seating compared to the more communal bench-style setups on other ships. We think it’s a big improvement, and we’re excited to see if Virgin brings similar upgrades to the other ships during dry dock.
Lucky Lotus and Future Variations
We haven’t tried Lucky Lotus yet, but we love the idea behind it – Virgin creating unique dining variations on each ship. Scarlet Lady now offers a Chinese-inspired menu for dinner, and we’re keen to see how this evolves.
Will Valiant Lady get her own twist during her 2026 dry dock? We’d love to see Indian or Thai cuisine added – something global that’s currently underrepresented in the fleet. Just recently Nirmal the CEO of Virgin Voyages was teasing that Brilliant Lady will launch with her own spin on Razzle Dazzle, so we have that to look forward to.
Should You Book Razzle Dazzle? Our Verdict
Honestly? Yes. It may not be the buzziest or hardest-to-book restaurant on board, but it consistently delivers solid food, fun drinks, and a more laid-back pace than some of the other eateries.
If you’re planning your dining:
- Prioritise The Wake and Extra Virgin for harder-to-get reservations or special occasions.
- Don’t overlook Razzle Dazzle – it’s often easier to book and still serves up one of the best meals onboard.
