Disney Fantasy Menus: Every Restaurant, Bar and Café on Our Norwegian Fjords Cruise

Disney Fantasy Frozen Dinner 1 (September 2025)

We photographed every menu put in front of us on our seven-night Norwegian Fjords sailing on the Disney Fantasy, round trip from Southampton in September 2025: the rotational dining rooms, Remy and Palo, the pool deck, the bars and even lunch at the top of the Loen Skylift. If you’re wondering what you’ll actually eat on a Disney cruise from the UK, this is the answer, night by night. Tap any photo to see it full size.

Good to know: menus change, so treat the dishes and prices here as what we saw in September 2025. Onboard prices are in US dollars and already include tax where it applies; an 18% gratuity is added to bar orders.

Rotational dining: three restaurants, one team

Disney’s party trick is rotational dining. There are three main restaurants, you move between them through the week, and your serving team moves with you. By night three they knew exactly how we took our coffee. Every dinner menu has a themed signature menu, a suggested wine beside most mains, and a “lighter note” list of steak, chicken and salmon that’s always there if you want something simple.

How the menus work across a sailing: for your first three nights you eat in each restaurant in turn, from its signature menu. After that it varies: some nights the whole ship has a themed menu (Pirates of the Caribbean, Frozen or a princess menu), others you get a restaurant’s second signature menu. It depends on the itinerary, so there’s no way to know in advance.

Animator’s Palate menu

Our first dinner, straight off the ship. Starters included smoked salmon tartare, black truffle pasta purses in a Champagne sauce and a tomato tarte with glazed goat’s cheese. Mains ran from penne Bolognese and grilled tuna to sesame halloumi parcels, each with a suggested glass. Dessert was lemon icebox pie, a deconstructed carrot cake, apple crumble rice pudding and a chocolate fudge cheesecake.

Dinner, wine list and desserts

Enchanted Garden menu

The room changes from day to night around you as dinner goes on. The menu is garden-fresh to match:

  • Starters: cucumber garden roll, ahi tuna and avocado tower, North Atlantic lobster ravioli, and a bacon and wild mushroom tart
  • Soups and salads: heirloom tomato soup, cream of asparagus with crabmeat, spinach and raspberry salad
  • Mains: caramelised sea scallops, pan-seared corvina, slow-roasted prime rib and a harissa lamb salad
  • Desserts: warm sticky date pudding, chocolate garden torte with caramel soil, and a lemon raspberry mousse bombe

Dinner and desserts

Royal Court: the Royal Dinner

The princess room, with a French signature menu and three signature drinks: Double Crowned, Impérial Illusion and the alcohol-free Princess Delight. Starters were duck confit, Gaston’s escargot gratinée, iced lobster and jumbo shrimp, and deep-fried brie; mains included salmon royale, crispy duck breast, rack of lamb and Chateaubriand.

The best bit comes at the end: the dessert menu arrives as a sealed envelope, like Cinderella’s invitation to the ball. The signature dessert is a classic opéra gâteau.

The Frozen dinner

On the first Norwegian port day the dining rooms switch to a Frozen menu, with a souvenir-glass cocktail. Every dish is named after a character:

  • Starters: the Duke of Weselton’s Favourites (meats and cheese with knäckebröd), Arendelle gravlax with lingonberries, and fried perogies with caviar
  • Mains: Kristoff’s steak, Anna’s honey-mustard salmon and Hans’s juniper-marinated pork tenderloin
  • Desserts: Oaken’s warm apple pudding cake, Olaf’s white chocolate dome, Norwegian pannekaken, and Elsa’s chocolate and raspberry tart

Our verdict on Oaken’s apple pudding cake: stunning, no notes.

Animation Magic: the final night

On our last evening we were back in Animator’s Palate for Animation Magic: you draw a character at the table, then watch it come to life on the walls later in the meal. The menu had tomato caprese, Malaysian chicken satay, lobster bisque, porcini sacchetti and a white Cheddar and broccolini soup.

Breakfast and lunch in the dining rooms

Skip the buffet and the main dining rooms serve a sit-down breakfast and, on sea days, lunch. Both are included.

Sea-day breakfast includes smoked salmon with cream cheese and capers, buttermilk pancakes (plain, blueberry or chocolate chip), a Southern hash, eggs as you like them and the “very, very French toast”.

Sea-day breakfast

Sea-day lunch was bigger than we expected: mulligatawny and seafood gumbo, a peppered sirloin salad, salmon fishcakes and Thai chicken lettuce wraps, roast chicken or cod, a burger list with an Impossible cheeseburger, bucatini carbonara, and warm lemon pudding or red velvet cake. The children’s lunch menu is on screens by the door.

Disembarkation breakfast is a proper send-off: a Belgian waffle with blueberry compote, eggs “for the road”, a breakfast tortilla, and Goofy’s “Get Up and Go” for children.

Remy menu: the story behind a $722 dinner

Remy is the Fantasy’s adults-only French restaurant and the hardest table on the ship to get; it had been fully booked on our previous sailings. This time we got in on the Ålesund evening, and it was the most incredible meal we’ve ever had.

It starts in the lounge with a champagne list that climbs from Prosecco to Dom Pérignon and Krug Rosé. Then comes a water menu. Yes, really:

WaterOriginPrice
HildonUnited Kingdom$9.50
SoléItaly$9.50
VossNorway$10
TauWales$11.75
IskildeDenmark$11.75
Ty NantWales$13.50
VellamoFinland$13.75

You can order à la carte, or choose one of two prix-fixe tasting menus: Saveur, by French Michelin-starred chef Arnaud Lallement, or Goût, by Disney’s own Michelin-starred chef Scott Hunnel. We had one of each, at $135 per person on our sailing (Disney has since raised the prix-fixe to $145). Pairings were $140 for wine and $185 for Champagne, with a zero-proof pairing too. The menu also offers caviar in a 30g tin: Royal Baika $140, Royal Daurenki $155 and Tsar Imperial Ossetra $300. Our full Remy review is on the way.

The wine list is serious: by the glass from Taittinger at $20.25 to Château Lynch-Bages 2020 at $84.75, and bottles up to Château d’Yquem 2019 at $522. Wine at Remy isn’t covered by the wine package. Our bill for two came to $722.16, including the 18% gratuity. For anyone who loves food, it’s a must-do at least once.

Palo menu

Palo is the Fantasy’s other adults-only restaurant: Italian, relaxed and much easier on the wallet. When we sailed, dinner had a cover charge (Disney raised it to $55 per person in 2025). Our menu included an antipasto board of cured meats and Italian cheeses, pappardelle with grilled lobster and truffle oil, a Prosciutto di Parma and burrata pizza, and the famous chocolate soufflé. There’s a zero-proof drinks pairing, and the wine package works here.

Palo is changing: from 23 October 2026, Palo dinner on the Disney Fantasy moves to a fully à la carte menu, so you pay per dish instead of a set cover charge. Palo brunch stays prix-fixe, at around $55 per person including gratuity.

Pool deck, casual bites and room service

The pool-deck food is themed as Cars pit stops and it’s all included. Tow Mater’s Grill does burgers, grilled chicken and tenders, with fries on request, and a daily chef’s special board appears too: on the Ålesund day it was a BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Frozone Treats is the Incredibles smoothie bar, with Berrilicious Mirage, Gazerbeam and Jack-Jack Favourites. Room service is ordered through the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.

Disney Fantasy bar menus

The adult evenings centre on Europa, a row of European-themed bars, each with its own menu. Cocktails were around $13–$16.

The Tube

London’s Underground as a bar, with every cocktail named after the network: The 1863 ($13.25), Tuppenny Tube ($14.50), Bullseye ($16), Johnston with Frangelico and Baileys ($15), Hammersmith ($16) and Wimbledon, with Pimm’s ($16). There’s a zero-proof cocktail with Seedlip ($11.75) and a Macallan Colours flight.

La Piazza

The Italian bar with the carousel horses: Venetian-inspired cocktails, Aperol and limoncino spritzes, a La Piazza Negroni, and a Piccola Cantina list of Italian wines, grappa and amari.

Cocktails, aperitivi and Piccola Cantina

Ooh La La

The Champagne bar. Try the Ring of Bubbles tasting flight ($24.75) or an “Outside the Bubble” cocktail ($15); the bottle list goes up to Krug and La Grande Dame.

O’Gill’s Pub

The sports pub, with bar snacks: wings at 5 for $4, 10 for $8 or 20 for $16, a giant pretzel, loaded tater tots and beef sliders ($8 each), and coconut shrimp ($10). Beers run from Kronenbourg to Guinness and Fuller’s London Pride, with a buy-five-get-one-free deal and a $19.25 Disney Cruise Line beer mug that gets you a 20oz pour for the price of 16oz.

Signals and the embarkation-day bar menus

On embarkation day the pool bars, such as Signals by the adults-only Quiet Cove pool, had short menus of signature cocktails such as a Frosé and a Passion Fizz, and “Cocktails for Connoisseurs” at $13.75. We also saw a “Welcome Home” drinks menu for Disney Vacation Club members, with The Porthole, an infusion experience for two.

Drinks: no package, but there are wine packages

There’s no all-inclusive drinks package on Disney Cruise Line. Soft drinks at meals, tea, coffee and the ice cream machines are included; alcohol, speciality coffee and smoothies are pay-as-you-go, with an 18% gratuity added to bar orders.

What you can buy is a wine package for dinner, sized to 3, 4, 5 or 7 nights, in two levels. Classic includes Poggio Costa Prosecco, Paco & Lola Albariño and Santa Margherita Merlot; Premium steps up to Domaine Ott Rosé, Chablis, Sancerre and Chianti Classico Riserva. An 18% gratuity is added.

3 nights$123$183
4 nights$158$241
5 nights$188$295
7 nights$259$388
  • You can order more than one bottle a night.
  • An unfinished bottle goes back to your cabin, or your team carries it to your next dinner.
  • You can take up to two unopened bottles home.
  • It works in the main dining rooms and Palo, but not in Remy.

Ashore in Olden: lunch at the top of the Loen Skylift

In Olden we added the Loen Skylift to our day and stopped for lunch at Hoven, the restaurant at the top, with floor-to-ceiling windows over the fjord. Prices are in Norwegian kroner: pumpkin soup 240, a local cured meat board with moose salami 350, wild mushroom risotto 310, pan-fried salmon 410 and a 280g beef tenderloin 610. There are pizzas named after the surrounding mountains too.

Our tips for eating well on the Disney Fantasy

  • Book Remy and Palo the moment your booking window opens. Remy has very few covers.
  • Look out for the Frozen dinner on the first Norwegian port day; the souvenir-glass cocktail is a lovely keepsake.
  • Save room at Royal Court. The dessert menu arrives as Cinderella’s invitation.
  • Use the “lighter note” list if the signature dishes aren’t for you.
  • Tell your team about dietary needs early. Menus mark vegetarian, gluten-free and dairy-free dishes, and Remy made a separate gluten-free dessert for Phil.
  • Do the maths on a wine package. If you share a bottle most nights, it beats paying by the glass.
  • Try one Europa bar each night. The Tube, La Piazza and Ooh La La are three very different evenings.
