Joining Castaway Cay, Lighthouse Point on the Bahamian island of Eleuthera will be home to Disney’s second private island.
This stunning island will soon become one of the exclusive ports of call for Disney Cruise Line, expected to be ready for sailings sometime in 2022 or 2023.
Disney stressed the importance of the environment in designing the new port; with legendary Imagineer Joe Rohde (Responsible for the design of Disney Animal Kingdom) leading the overall design of the island; I’m sure it will be a very authentic Bahamas experience filled with the Disney magic we all know and love.
With three new ships on the way, it will be great to have another beautiful island in the Caribbean when sailing these amazing ships.
